Developing the right skills to make a million dollars isn’t as difficult as it might seem. (I haven’t been huffing paint, hear me out.)
Given that the median US household income is around $68,000, it takes the typical household just under 15 years to earn $1M.
And here comes that big, juicy BUT…..
Earning and keeping that million dollars—as in, seeing $1M in your bank account—that’s a different story entirely.
Especially if you’re starting from less than nothing.
When I calculated my net worth for the very first time it was as sobering as a slap in the face.
My net worth was -$45,000.
As in, I had to earn and KEEP $45,000 to increase my net worth to $0.
(And I only made $45,000 a year at the time, so it was going to take me about 5 million years to get there, given all of those annoying expenses like food and rent.)
It was time to turn that situation around.
