Last week I showed you how you can create a credibility-enhancing logo for your publishing brand using Canva.
The main limitation of using Canva to create your logo is its inability to export your logo as an .eps or .svg file (both vector file formats). An .eps file has a transparent background which will allow you to place your logo on your coloured book cover background without displaying the white background of a .jpg.
Some vector-editing programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Affinity Designer allow you to convert a .pdf into an .eps, and that’s what I’m going to be showing you today.
