You’ve heard it before: time is your most valuable resource.
And it’s a nonrenewable resource—as soon as you spend it, it’s gone forever.
During the first part of this year I was spending time like it was money and I was an heiress on a shopping spree.
Not on purpose, of course—I wasn’t sitting on my duff all day, scrolling Instagram like a fiend or binge watching countless hours of Netflix (but seriously though—have you watched Escaping Twin Flames Universe yet??? 😱).
I sat at my desk for 8 hours a day, but just couldn’t seem to get my you-know-what together. I’d let myself get so sucked into the day-to-day maintenance of my business that my time management systems had gone right out the window.
A massive reset was in order, and I’m happy to report that I’m back to feeling happy, productive, and (almost) completely sane again. And I’m finally getting things done!
Whether you’re looking to squeeze more juice out of your work day, or make sure you’ve still got time for friends, family, hobbies, and self-care when the work day is done, it’s incredibly important to use your time with intention so you don’t squander it on projects, people, or activities that you don’t give 2 craps about.
Check out my new YouTube video below, Time Management For the Highly Distractible, where I’m sharing what I think are the 3 most important elements of effective time management, so you can go from scatterbrained to time-management maven—and start making the most out of the little time you’ve got.
And remember, in the fast-paced world we live in, it’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind. Taking a moment to reflect on how you allocate your time and ensuring it aligns with your priorities is an ongoing journey. Let’s continue this conversation about intentional living and effective time management—your future self will thank you for it!
