What does “success” look like to you? More time to spend with your family, friends, and pet gerbil? More time to travel to far-flung locales like Thailand, Tahiti, or Timbuktu? Living in the Cribs-worthy home of your dreams, replete with all of the trappings of an eccentric celebrity (handbag closet, 3-story slide, and an alligator-infested moat)?
However wild or tame your version of success, one of the best ways to accomplish it is to surround yourself with high-vibe, abundance-minded people and learn the habits and strategies that helped them achieve their goals.
Recently, I spoke to 4 badass self-made millionaires about the secrets to their success. I asked them:
- how they made their first million
- what they think is the secret to their success
- the advice they’d give to someone who wants to make a million dollars
- the most important money lesson they’ve learned so far
Earning a million dollars may not be the end goal in itself, but financial stability can make a HUGE difference in your ability to spend time doing the things that matter most to you. Even more than dollars in your bank account, living life on your terms is definitely a sign of true success.
These gals are truly worth listening to if you’re somewhere along the path toward YOUR first million, whether you’re almost there OR not even close (yet). Check out what they had to say about their success (and how to achieve your own) in this video:
