In order to optimize my book for maximum performance before I’ve even made it to the creation stage, I make sure that I’ve front-loaded all of my research and recorded every last bit of metadata. Doing this ensures that I’ve been thorough in my work, reducing my odds of creating a dud that no one ends up being interested in, and it allows me to focus on creating a smaller number of higher quality, customer-considered books.
