Welcome back to my Low-Content Publishing Design Tutorial Series!
In case you missed my first two Affinity Publisher tutorials, this program is a professional level desktop publishing software ideal for creating your LC book cover and interior files.
In fact, Affinity Publisher has most of the features you’d get by purchasing InDesign—the desktop publishing industry standard—at a fraction of the cost.
Of course, if you’re not ready to make the small investment in purchasing Affinity Publisher, you can still create your covers in Canva, which will yield great results. But if you’ve already purchased Affinity Publisher to streamline your interior file creation, or if you’re just interested in seeing what this program has to offer, then follow along to find out how to create a stellar book cover.

I have Affinity Publishing but haven’t yet used it much as I still find it easier to use its predecessor, Serif PagePlus9, so I found this tutorial useful to help me get into using it. Thanks

Awesome, glad you found it useful!
This is the beginning process for me and as a 72 year old Nana I find myself technically challenged. You have a soothing voice and a way to explain the next steps that helps me believe this too I can do.
An aside from this comment, in another video you said we need to have a goal as to our why. We need a plan in place to keep us focused. We adopted children, now adults, with disabilities and my goal is to make sure their future will be secure when we are no longer here. That will be several years as both my parents are in their 90’s. Longevity runs in the family.
Thank you for helping us succeed.
Hi Joanne, thanks for your comment! I’m thrilled that you find my videos useful, and I believe that you can do this too!
Your “why” is an excellent one; I don’t think there’s any “why” that’s stronger than our desire to provide for our children. Let’s do this!
Where is the best place to get PDF templates for modification in AP?
Hi Janet, I can’t recommend any in particular, as I haven’t purchased any myself. Are you a member of my free Facebook group? If so, you can ask this question there and get some good answers. Here’s the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1317558588399004/
